Meet Vernon

As a product of Grace Ministries International back in the 1990s (trained through the First Baptist Church of Atlanta counseling program), I learned the truth of God's grace and freedom in Christ. After 30+ years in the corporate world and 25 years running my own ministry, I assumed the role of President at Grace Ministries International in March 2021. I was married 30 years until cancer took the life of my wife in 2015, leaving me a single dad with young teenagers. I volunteered and mentored teenagers for over 12 years (including 8 mission trips to Mexico). In 2022, I remarried and am currently serving together with my wife Michelle at Grace Ministries International. I am the father of an amazing autistic son who still lives at home, as well as two lovely daughters. One daughter is married, and the other is single and working. Michelle and I enjoy coaching special needs baseball ("Miracle League") and kayaking when we can. I am an author, speaker, counselor/mentor, and lover of technology.
