Meet Torben

I first heard the message of grace and living from who I am in Christ in 2007, and it completely transformed how I see God, myself and other people!

I was blessed to spend 6 years on staff with Grace Ministries International. I learned so much about what it looks like to live as my authentic self through training and co-counseling, and through leading discipleship training programs and counseling hundreds of people.

Now it’s my privilege to serve part-time with Grace Ministries International, and I especially love walking with people who have experienced loss of a loved one or some other kind of significant trauma and help people experience healing, hope, freedom and joy through encountering Jesus in the midst of their pain.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” (John 12:24).

I love to provide a safe and honest space for people who are walking through grief and trauma and help them encounter the suffering servant Jesus as He encounters them and changes their lives.
