Meet Margalena

Margalena Lepore

Director of Counseling

My heart is for teens and young women to know and live from their identity in Christ. I believe that our concept of worth, and how we view ourselves, changes from within as we recognize that our needs are met solely within our relationship with Jesus, and our value rests in what He has accomplished on our behalf.

Eight years ago, a quick Google search for local Christian counselors directed me to reached out to Christian Families Today. There I discovered the life changing truths which eventually led me to training and the current position as a discipleship counselor. Originally educated in art and design, my love for the arts flows through my counseling process. My counselees will have the opportunity to try specific art techniques and practices. Art complements the counseling process, allowing the body to relax and focus. This provides an outlet and expression of any pain felt in addressing difficult subjects.

My desire is to bring glory to God through art and counseling. I love to witness the transformation that occurs as the Spirit’s revelation touches the heart of a client in ways they never imagined. My hope is that with each teen or young woman, seeds of truth and identity are planted, watered, and ultimately cultivated by Christ throughout their lives. I am excited to be a part of the staff of Grace Ministries International and serve youth all over the US.
