Biography

Born and raised in Georgia, I graduated from Georgia State University with a BBA in business management. I was a youth pastor at a small church in Dunwoody, GA in the late 1980s and directed an exciting youth program for a number of years (I still volunteer with high school students and coach leaders at Browns Bridge Church in Cumming, GA). I came to understand God’s grace and freedom in Christ in the early 1990s and was trained as a discipleship counselor at that time through First Baptist Church Atlanta using the Grace Ministries model. I started my own ministry in the mid-1990s and funded a majority of it through my career in the corporate world for 30+ years. Mike Quarles (author of Freedom From Addiction and many other books) and I speak on multiple webinar series each year since 2009, offering hope and freedom to those struggling with addiction. In 2017 I began working with inmates at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center but have paused that ministry due to COVID-19 restrictions. I serve on the Board of Directors for Lion Life Community Inc., the education arm at Cherokee County Adult Detention Center that offers GED courses and testing for inmates. My latest book, “Stop Fighting, Start Living – Unraveling Temptation” is available on Amazon.

I am excited to serve as President of Grace Ministries International with such an incredible team.
