Details on the Spiritual Formation Program (SFP)
The Emmaus Road Spiritual Formation Program is offered for those who desire to experience God as He speaks within the believer’s own heart, in the reading of the Scriptures, or as one learns to listen for the voice of Jesus expressed within the Christian community of faith, that is, the church, the Body of Christ. It is this kind of relationship that the Emmaus Road Program in Spiritual Formation desires to help cultivate and nurture in its participants.
The 5-month program, sponsored by Grace Ministries International, is in cooperation with former GMI staff member Barry Grecu and Ministry Emmaus. It runs from January to June 2008.
The Program begins with a weekend retreat January 4-6th and ends with a weekend retreat May 31st-June 2nd. Bi-weekly classes will be held on Monday evenings beginning Monday, January 14th in the training room of GMI.
The cost of the program is $650 that includes the beginning and ending retreats. The fee does not include the cost of books listed as required reading. A $100 deposit is required by December 15th 2007, the application deadline for those wishing to participate in the spiritual formation program. This deposit is non-refundable after December 15th.
