Application Process for The Encounter

To participate in The Encounter, whether the 9-week or the evening program, you are required to complete the application process and be selected to attend The Encounter. Following is an overview of the application and selection process.
Application Process
- Attendance at a Grace Life Conference (or equivalent) at least three months prior to starting date of The Encounter.
- Download and complete The Encounter Application.
- After completing the application, forward your application to GMI at the following address:

Marietta, GA 30067 - Distribute three reference forms to acquaintances including your pastor. Direct your references to complete the applicable reference form and forward it to GMI at the address listed on the reference form. Reference forms are required prior to entrance into the The Encounter program.
- After GMI receives your application, we will send you a Taylor Johnson Temperament Analysis Profile for completion.
- When the TJ is received by us, you will be contacted to schedule an interview.
- Following the interview, a decision will be made regarding your entrance into the The Encounter program. You will be contacted within 2 weeks of your interview and advised of your acceptance into the The Encounter program.
- The application form must be received by Wednesday December 31st.
Prior to The Encounter:
The following books are required reading during the The Encounter. However, it is strongly suggested that you make a start on the reading list prior to beginning The Encounter.
