Tammy's Passion:
Working at the Front Desk allows me to be indirectly involved in the ‘discipleship process.” One of this things that I find most fulfilling and exciting is seeing the transformation of individual lives as they grasp and grow in the truths and freedom of understanding Christ as life.

Bio:
Even though I had been a Christian since childhood and in fulltime ministry for over 12 years, I felt that something was missing in my life as a Christian. Though I knew God loved me, he seemed very distant. I spent a lot of time trying to please Him and others around me, still always felt restlessness inside. I knew that there must be something more than the “Christian Life” I was living.
Amidst all of this, God was never really distant. He was taking me on a journey of discovery of His grace and acceptance and of understanding who I am. In 1999 my husband and I came to GMI after having resigned from our church in England. We went through the one-on-one discipleship counseling and then the internship program. During this time I learned and experienced so much, but the most important things for me were that I began to understand who I was in Christ, His beloved daughter. Nothing I did or did not do would change this. I realized that I did not need to perform for God; I was totally accepted and desired by him. My personal journey did not end with the internship. God continues to show Himself to me in the daily circumstances of life.
