Sandi Grecu
Responsibilities:
I am the Training Director for GMI. I also see people who come for pastoral counseling where I get all sorts of opportunities to share and teach about Christ as Life. I also lead or help to lead 3 Day Conferences and 5 Day Workshops, mentor interns, lead and help to lead internships. God has sovereignly placed me at GMI and it is my great privilege to share the truths that I have come to experience for myself. There’s nothing quite like “seeing the lights go on” as a counselee or intern gets revelation from the Holy Spirit. It is a great joy to be a coworker with him.
Sandi's Passion:
For God’s people to know that they are the Beloved of God, totally accepted by him Knowing my belovedness changed my life and changed how I define myself. I long for others to have this revelation. And My favorite place to share this truth is in a group setting with our interns.

Bio:
God became irresistible to me in the Spring of 1978. Soon afterwards I was baptized and began to grow as a believer. I was married at this time but my new faith in God began to be a source of conflict. Five years after becoming a Christian, my husband made the decision to leave and make another life for himself. At that time, I had two teenage sons, one of whom was, and is, seriously disabled. By 1989, my parents had deceased, I was divorced and my sons were no longer living with me. God began to make it very clear to me that he was calling me into missions. In 1991, I participated in a training school with Youth With A Mission in Amsterdam and in February 1993, I joined staff there. I wore “many hats” in my career with YWAM, including ministry in the Red Light District, but mainly I was involved in training. I led seven Discipleship Training Schools, trained the staff , went on short term missions to many countries and had pastoral oversight of teams from my DTS’s who were on the mission field.
In April 1995, I participated in Advanced Exchange Life Training with GMI in Atlanta. This was a profound experience for me and I began to discover that God didn’t want me working for him, rather he wanted to express Himself through me. I experienced much freedom as I received revelation that I had literally been crucified with Christ, raised with Christ and that I am his beloved child. The knowledge and the reality that I was totally accepted by God has been life-changing for me. I couldn’t wait to share this truth with anyone who would listen!
Early in 2000, I made the decision to come on staff of GMI and began to wind down my work with YWAM.
